Two years after working together in the teleserye Lovers And Paris, Piolo Pascual and Maricar Reyes are reunited in the Father’s Day episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya this June 18. Piolo plays the role of Darwin Calvario of General Santos City, a tricycle driver who tries his best to be a good provider to his wife Chona (played Maricar) and their newborn baby. Earning money for their daily needs is difficult enough already, but his strength as a family man is put to the test when he finds out that his baby is suffering from imporforate anus (no anal opening) and needs to undergo an immediate operation. Amidst his frantic search for funds that would cover his son’s hospital bills, Darwin stumbles upon a bag containing a huge amount of money in the backseat of his tricycle one day. Is it the answer to his dilemma or will he choose to return the money to its rightful owner?
