Cristine Reyes is excited about her teleserye Reputasyon because of the chance to work with brilliant actors such as Jaclyn Jose, Lito Pimentel, Aiko Melendez, and Jason Abalos. Award-winning director Laurice Guillen will direct the teleserye. In the soap series, Cristine will play the role of Agnes de los Santos, which she describes as “simpleng tao, kolehiyala at pangarap niyang maging guro katulad ng kanyang ina (Jaclyn), [at ang] tatay (Lito) niya isang magsasaka.”
With highly-acclaimed actors for co-stars, Cristine related that she needs to keep herself on her toes. She added that viewers should watch out for the confrontation scenes between her and Aiko, who plays the antagonist. She continued that there are also intense confrontation scenes between Jaclyn and Aiko.
Reputasyon is also the project that will launch her and real-life boyfriend Rayver Cruz as a love team. They worked before in Kristine Series but they were not yet together at that time. More than worrying about how viewers would react to their first team-up, Cristine is more excited about the quality of their project. “Well nung nabasa ko naman ‘yung script I’m sure magugustuhan ito ng mga manonood dahil from intense acting to kilig-kiligan, alam mo ‘yung tipo ng mga Pinoy? So nasa panlasa ito ng mga Pinoy at magugustuhan nila ito,” she assured.
She also said that having her boyfriend as her leading man has a lot of advantages. “Masaya siyempre kasi ‘di ka mabo-bored, ‘yung inspirasyon mo nasa tabi mo lang. Masaya. Sa Reputasyon lang kami halos nagkikita.”
Aside from the teleserye, Cristine is also shooting for her next film with Derek Ramsay and Anne Curtis. When it comes to billing, the sexy actress said that she has no problem even if her name will come last. “Okay lang ako kahit after na ng kung sino [ang mauuna]. ‘Di big deal sa akin ‘yon,” she said and continued that Anne and Derek’s names deserve to come before hers. “Mauna sila talaga dahil sila naman ay institusyon, joke! Ano bang term don? Mas marami na silang napatunayan kesa sa akin.”
