Actress-host Toni Gonzaga said she is happy for her friend, actor Zanjoe Marudo, who is now dating actress Bea Alonzo.In an interview during the last shooting day of her upcoming film "Wedding Tayo, Wedding Hindi," with Marudo and comedienne Eugene Domingo, Gonzaga said she is glad that Marudo has found a new love.
"Oo naman (happy ako) kasi they both deserve the love and happiness na mayroon sila ngayon. So ako I'm all for them. I support them," said Gonzaga, a friend of Mariel Rodriguez, ex-girlfriend of Marudo.
Gonzaga said she also understands Marudo and Alonzo's decision to keep their relationship private.
"If ever hindi pa nila ino-all out sa public, maybe because they want to keep it to themselves and enjoy the privacy and the moment na mayroon sila. Basta kaming mga kaibigan nila ay nandito kami para sa kanila," Gonzaga said.
Alonzo is currently the leading lady of Rodriguez's husband Robin Padilla in ABS-CBN's newest TV series "Guns and Roses".
Gonzaga and Marudo, on the other hand, worked together in 2007 for the film "You've Got Me."
