For the first taping day of My Binondo Girl, Kim Chiu worked with Jolo Revilla who has been very vocal about his attraction towards the pretty chinita. And true to the young actor’s nature, he immediately made a good impression by treating Kim to her favorite siomai for lunch. Nanood siguro siya ng interview ko kaya niya nalaman na paborito ko yun,” she said in an interview with ABS-CBN reporters on the set of their upcoming series last June 1.
Kim admitted that it’s really flattering to have a leading man who spoils her and looks after her welfare. She’s grateful that they have already established good rapport with each other from the get-go. And ngayon wala naman akong naramdamang ilangan. Parang buddy buddy [yung turingan namin].
The young actress further shared why she finds Jolo very easy to work with.
But when asked about the possibility of Jolo becoming her suitor, Kim was quick to reiterate that she’d rather be friends with him at this point in time. “Paano kung bigyan niya ako ng flowers? Hindi, huwag muna [siyang manligaw], ayoko. Hindi pa ako ready for commitment.
