Janice de Belen, who is a Kapamilya talent again, doesn’t mind working in the same network company that her former husband is currently a part of.
De Belen answered in the negative when asked during the press conference for her upcoming teleserye, “Budoy,” if she felt awkward knowing that John Estrada also works for ABS-CBN.
The veteran actress, who is not on good terms with the father of her 4 children, maintained that her main priority is work.
“It’s a work area. Everything is work,” she said.
If they would meet in a hallway, the veteran actress said that she would greet him but added, “Hindi naman ako dito (ABS-CBN) magta-taping.”
De Belen, however, chose not to answer when asked if she is open to the idea of both of them guesting on a television show together.
On her being a Kapamilya talent again, meanwhile, de Belen said: “Medyo nakaka-nerbiyos ng unti. Nakaka-overwhelm. I’m really excited, I’m really looking forward to not only the story but to be here again.”
She added: “I have a lot of friends here. Parang I want to see them again, work with them again.”
In 2009, de Belen claimed that Estrada failed to fulfill his financial obligation to their children. Estrada denied his former wife's accusation.
Estrada is now married to 2004 Miss Earth Priscilla Meirelles. On Friday, Estrada said he and his second wife will visit a doctor this week to check if the former beauty queen is pregnant.
