ABS-CBN's "Pilipinas Got Talent" (PGT) Season 2 has finally named its 10th and 11th grand finalists.Ballroom dancers Leonel Enopia and Elizabeth Dazo led the nationwide text votes with 34.06%, automatically giving them a slot in the show's finale.
PGT's judges Freddie Garcia, Ai Ai delas Alas and Kris Aquino, had to choose between singing trio Joy's Diva and Marcelito Po Moy who ranked 2nd (28.58%) and 3rd (23.71%) in text votes, respectively.
"Alam mo hirap na hirap ako kapag semi-finals especially kapag napakagagaling ng contestants natin. This has no bearing na kababayan ko itong si Marcelito kasi ang gaganda niyo at gagaling niyo talaga but ladies it's really a talent show and really Marcelito did very well, kaya kay Marcelito (ang boto ko)," Garcia said.
"Yung sinasabi ni boss (Garcia) totoo. Among the nights we have to judge ito yung hardest because we are so near the very end talaga at nakikita namin talaga na both of you kung boses at boses both si Marcelito at Joys Diva pwede nating ipagmalaki ang talent. Pero susundin ko ang puso ko yung sinabihan kong I love you. My vote goes for Marcelito," Aquino added.
"Susundin ko lang din dahil sa pagmamahal ko sa mga anak ko ikaw ang binoto nila. Kinakabahan na daw siya. Anak, this is for you. Si Marcelito ang binoto ko," delas Alas shared.
Before tandem of Leonel Enopia and Elizabeth Dazo and Po Moy, 10 finalists were already been named: DJP Trio, Buildex Pagales, John Michael Narag, Filogram, Freestylers, Madrigal Siblings, B4, Angel Canlas, Happy Feet and Jose Emmanuel "Jem" Cubil.
