The finalists in "Star Power: Sharon's Search for the Next Female Superstar" are now the newest talents handled by Star Magic.Akiko Solon, K-La Rivera, Monica Sacay, Angeline Quinto and Krissel Valdez are now in good company as many popular and successful artists are also handled by the company.
Solon, Rivera, Sacay, and Valdez may have lost to Quinto who was declared champion, but they are now ready to showcase their talents on a wider scale.
In an interview with "Showbiz News Ngayon" (SNN), the singers were united in saying that it was a dream come true for them to be part of the Star Magic family.
"Dream come true po talaga. Kasi lahat ng stars (na nasa Star Magic), they are the big stars of ABS-CBN po. So for us to be part of it, talagang it's a big blessing for us," Rivera said.
"Very, very lucky po kami and grateful," Valdez added.
Sacay said being a Star Magic talent is a great opportunity for a singer like her.
"Isa po talaga itong malaking opportunity po," she said.
"Sobrang nagpapasalamat din po kami," Solon added.
In a previous interview, the 4 singers admitted that they all want to be part of show business.
Meanwhile, "Star Power"'s grand winner Quinto just launched her self-titled debut album.
She also met her idol Regine Velasquez last Thursday in the latter's home, according to SNN host Bianca Gonzalez.
Velasquez even asked Quinto to include her as one of the guest performers in her first major concert.
Velasquez's husband, OPM president Ogie Alcasid, also volunteered to compose a song for Quinto.
