Matteo Guidicelli admitted that he will miss Maja Salvador while she is on tour with the other Star Magic artists for more than two weeks. As it is, he had grown used to being around her almost 24/7 due to the shooting of their upcoming Star Cinema film entitled Basted. “Oo naman po, we’ve gotten closer dahil araw-araw kaming nagkikita sa set. We’re close friends. But we won’t see each other during the Holy Week though kasi si Maja pupunta siya sa States, may Star Magic tour siya dun, ako pupunta naman ako sa Cebu kasama ng pamilya ko. So medyo matagal kaming ‘di magkikita. It’s really great though kasi we’re done shooting the movie,” he said in a recent interview.The distance won’t be a problem though according to Matteo since they could still keep in touch through texting or Skype. “Tignan natin kung paano kami makakapag-usap, pwedeng Skype or text text,” he beamed. When asked about the status of their relationship, the young actor merely said that he has discovered a lot of good qualities about Maja that makes the actress more special to him. “I learned a lot about her tungkol sa work, tungkol sa buhay… She's a very talented person, very experienced in life. She’s very, very humble. She loves her work so much and the people around her, so I am learning a lot from her.”
Matteo’s main priority right now is his showbiz career and he’s just grateful for all the good projects that he’s doing in ABS-CBN. “Words can’t describe what I feel right now. It’s such a blessing. I just came back from the States two years ago, tapos dumating Agua Bendita last year lang. Nasundan ng Wansapanataym: Inday Sa Balitaw, napasama ako sa Happy, Yipee, Yehey! at sa Catch Me…I’m In Love. Tapos may Basted and Binondo Girl, sunod-sunod talaga, so I thank the Lord for all these blessings,” he added.
