TV host Bianca Gonzalez has called on the public to be responsible in using various social networking sites.
Talking on “Showbiz News Ngayon” Monday, Gonzalez emphasized that people must take full responsibility for whatever they post on the Internet, particularly on Twitter.
Kaya ko namang panindigan,” she said.
The TV host added that everyone must respect each other’s opinion since the Philippines is a democratic country.
Just like kailangan natin igalang ang opinyon ng bawat isa,” she explained.
Furthermore, Gonzalez reminded the people not to take advantage of the the usefulness of Twitter to connect.
“Sana gamitin itong mga social networking sites sa responsableng paraan kasi napakagandang tool nito para maka-connect tayong lahat sa isa’t isa,” she said.
Gonzalez made this statement in the light of controversies which have started in the microblogging site.
Gonzalez herself got involved in a controversy recently after TV host Willie Revillame named her as one of the celebrities who criticized an episode of “Willing Willie” wherein a young boy was made to do a lewd dance in exchange for cash.
Gonzalez is one of the most followed Filipino celebrities on Twitter with more than 400,000 followers as of posting.
