Bea Alonzo Opens Up About the Men in Her Life

Currently on the annual Star Magic Tour in the United States, Bea Alonzo finally opened up about the suitors that came into her life these past few years, namely top leading men Gerald Anderson, Jake Cuenca, and Zanjoe Marudo. (The Pak! Pak! My Dr. Kwak! star’s last relationship was with Mico Palanca which ended in 2008.) In the April issue of The Buzz Magazine, the Fil-Brit beauty admitted they courted her, but she is still currently single.

With Jake, Bea said that there were some gray areas during the courtship which was why they never ended up together. Hindi talaga nag-work,” she shared with The Buzz Magazine.

After being linked to Gerald Anderson last year, Bea received a lot of backlash, which even included some death threats, from supposed hardcore supporters of the Kim Chiu-Gerald love team. The 24-year-old actress admitted she was not fazed by the negativity, although it definitely cut short whatever potential she and Gerald had as a couple. Saka may mga bagay na kung minsan kailangan mong pumili,” she explained in The Buzz Magazine. Obviously being more cautious now, Bea would prefer that Gerald be the one to answer any lingering questions about the two of them.

When it comes to talking about Zanjoe, Bea still wouldn’t confirm anything, and would only admit the growing potential between them the more that she gets to know him. Even their super busy work schedules doesn't seem to be a problem since both make it a point to always keep in touch. But we always talk on the phone. Pero parang hindi pa rin napapanahon na pumasok kami sa relationship while we're both busy kasi magkakaproblema rin kami,” she admitted.

Bea said she is comfortable with having no commitment with Zanjoe yet because she is currently happy being close friends with him right now. “Ngayon nandoon pa, walang pressure, wala siyang kailangan gawin. Masasabi kong lucky ako kasi he brings out the positive in me,” she shared in The Buzz Magazine feature story.
