ABS-CBN News Channel’s (ANC) weekly documentary, Storyline, won at the recently concluded New York Festivals' Television and Film Awards held in Las Vegas.The television show bagged the silver medal for the biography-profiles category and bronze medal under community portraits.
Storyline's winning entries were "Alexis and Nika", "Orphan" and "Stolen."
Storyline uses powerful narrative and compelling cinematic work to tell its stories.
Other ABS-CBN TV programs also received finalist certificates, namely Altar (Copywriting: Promotion Spot), I Survived (Docudrama), Storyline (Social Issues/Current Events), Dahil May Isang Ikaw (Telenovelas), Magkaribal (Telenovelas), and TV Patrol's Bloodbath in Manila (Coverage of Breaking News).
The New York Festivals gives recognition to the "world's best works" in news, sports, documentary, information and entertainment programs.
