The recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan have brought fear to neighboring countries, including the Philippines. Both Japan and the Philippines are in the Pacific Ring of Fire, meaning it is prone to earthquakes.

This Tuesday (Mar 15) on “Patrol ng Pilipino,” Jeff Canoy will show how prepared the country is for a calamity similar to what hit Japan.

Jeff was in Baler, Aurora when the tsunami alert in the country was raised right after the tsunami in Japan. He witnessed firsthand the panic among the residents who flee from their homes to evacuation centers to avoid danger.
