While the Erich Gonzales and Enchong Dee love team may be one of local showbiz’s most popular tandems, the two remain very focused on their careers. “Hindi ito showbiz answer, pareho naming pina-prioritize ‘yung trabaho,” said Erich. “Every time na may project, we always make sure na kung anuman ‘yung project na ibibigay sa amin, kumbaga una talaga ‘yon. And ever since talaga, magkaibigan kami ni Enchong, never nahaluan ng romantic ba. He’s such a good friend.” Enchong explained, “Kasi pareho kami ng wavelength ng pag-iisip, kumbaga marami pa kaming gustong i-achieve.” The two will again work together in the upcoming local adaptation of the telenovela hit, Maria la del Barrio.
Erich admitted that if she and Enchong have misunderstandings, they discuss it themselves and avoid involving anyone who is not concerned. “Kami ni Enchong mata sa mata alam na namin ang gagawin, we know each other very well. I can honestly say kung meron mang problema kung meron pang misunderstanding sa aming dalawa, kami ang mag-uusap. Hindi others,” the actress shared.
When Enchong recently admitted that there is a special girl in his life, some assumed that it was either Kim Chiu or Erich but the two actresses already clarified that neither of them is the girl that is making Enchong happy.
Asked for her reaction about Enchong’s current happy love life, Erich replied smiling, “I’m so very, very happy for him but please don’t ask me kung sino, hindi ko sasabihin.”
