Piolo Pascual believes that there is no sweeter way of expressing one’s deep feelings of love and affection than through the language of music. That’s why this Valentine’s Day he is offering no less than the gift of music for his countless fans and music lovers.The actor, singer, recording artist and model will serenade fans with an endearing array of love songs and ballads during his much-awaited Valentine concert on Feb. 14, 8 p.m. at the Plenary Hall of the Philippine International Convention Center, Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City.
Piolo Meets The Maestro, Ryan Cayabyab will also feature the Ryan Cayabyab Singers, Sitti and Yeng Constantino as guests.
The show to be directed by Johnny Manahan will have Ryan as musical director.
The concert will showcase the powerful combination of Piolo the singer and Ryan the composer and musician — backed by a five-piece band — resulting in a wonderful synergy that is out to draw wide acclaim from the predominantly Valentine crowd.
The centerpiece of the two-hour musical extravaganza is a 10-minute soliloquy based on The Beatles’ hit love songs with a line-up of heart-wrenching songs from Piolo’s chart-topping Decades and Decades II albums.
The show marks Piolo’s third major solo concert, who has been doing four to five concert tours abroad every year for the past decade with The Hunks and The Heartthrobs and, more recently, as a solo performer.
It is also another milestone in the successful musical partnership between Piolo and Ryan, their third team-up after they mounted the Christmas concerts of Ayala Malls in 2009 and 2010, and a corporate event in Iloilo in-between.
His 2010 greatest hits album, Decades II, is among the bestsellers at Astro Vision and Astro Plus record bars.
