Anne Curtis Turns 26

Anne Curtis turned emotional as she celebrated her 26th birthday on ABS-CBN's talent show "Showtime" on Thursday.

Curtis shed tears after her mother Mrs. Carmen Ojales-Smith greeted her via phone patch.

"Happy birthday! Firstly I wish you all the blessings, good health. Anne, wala na akong masasabi ngayon sa narating mo sa career mo. Napakalayo na ang naabot mo at natupad lahat lahat ng pangarap mo. I'm so happy for you. Proud na proud talaga ako sa iyo [because of] what you are now," Ojales-Smith said.

"I'm so thankful to God for all the blessings He gave you and also I wish you all the happiness in your love life, hahaha, with Erwan. At maraming maraming salamat sa suporta mo sa amin ng 2 mong kapatid, si Jasmine at si Thomas. Sana hindi ka magbabago sa amin.. Stay fit as you are. You're still my 'wabbly wabbly' Anne. l love you. Happy ka na sa love life mo. Sana, sana, sana. I love you and happy birthday," she added.

Curtis was really touched by her mom's greeting and said that she really misses being with her family in Australia.

"I love you and I will see you soon. I miss you. Miss na miss ko na ang mama ko. Miss na miss ko na ang family ko. Thank you mama. Thank you for greeting," Curtis said.

The actress also expressed her appreciation to her "Showtime" family for making her dreams come true.

"Sa 'Showtime' family ko, thank you for making not only the 'Madlang Pipol' dream come true. Pati 'yung dream ko, natutupad dito sa 'Showtime'," she said.

Curtis was born in Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia on February 17, 1985. She has a sister, Jasmine, and a brother, Thomas, who are both residing in Australia with their mother, Ojales-Smith, who is from Pangasinan.

Curtis's father, James Curtis-Smith, is an Australian lawyer.

Curtis was having lunch with her parents at a restaurant called "Sa Bahay ni Lola" when a talent scout spotted her and invited her to join showbiz.

Aside from hosting "Showtime," Curtis is promoting her upcoming movie "Who's The Girl?" with Luis Manzano.

She is also busy taping for "Green Rose", her new TV series "Green Rose" with actor Jericho Rosales
