Actor John Lloyd Cruz is currently the most beautiful star in the country, according to an entertainment magazine.Cruz ranked number one in YES! Magazine's 100 Most Beautiful Stars 2011. In an interview, he said he found it hard to believe that he would secure the top spot.
"Hindi ako makapaniwala. Tinatanong ko sila (YES! Magazine) noon, [sabi ko] sigurado ba kayo? Wala ba kayong ibang mapili? Totoo talaga, I find it hard to believe na ako ang nasa top, eh 100 'yan at ako ang nakakuha ng number one spot, 'di ko talaga maintindihan [kung] bakit," he told members of the entertainment press.
"It's a very intriguing and interesting recognition but I'm hoping na there's more to this handsome face and godly body kaya niyo ako pinili," he said in jest.
Just recently, YES! Magazine named Cruz as its second top endorser in its 20 Top Endorsers 2011 list.
Television host and Presidential sister Kris Aquino topped the said list this year.
