Award-winning actress Amy Austria-Ventura has resumed her work on ABS-CBN's hit TV series "Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin (MLKI)" after more than a month of absence.Report has it that Austria, known for her role as Rosa and Laura in the said TV series, underwent total hysterectomy.
"Tumagal ako ng 40 days sa hospital. Masaya naman. Siyempre, na-miss ko ito at saka ang warm welcome ng grupo. Mahal na mahal ko itong proyekto na ito," Austria told "Showbiz News Ngayon".
Austria was said to be taping for MLKI when she was rushed to the hospital for back pains.
After conducting a series of tests, doctors found a mass in one of her ovaries. Her doctors said it was benign but advised that the actress undergo total hysterectomy to avoid complications.
Now that she's back, Austria invited her fans and televiewers to watch her comeback in MLKI.
"Abangan niyo po ulit ang pagbabalik ni Rosa, ni Laura. Abangan niyo kung ano ang gagawin ng aking character at kung ano ang pangyayari at mga dramang susuungin ko dito," Austria said.
