Minimum-wage earners have long fought for a wage hike to help them cope with the rising cost of living. After all, the prices of transportation fare and food continue to increase as well.Unfortunately, they lost in a battle again as the government rejected their P125 wage hike demand and gave them P22 COLA or “cost of living allowance.”
