During the cast pictorial of Guns & Roses, Empress and Ejay Falcon told Push.com.ph that they are really excited about starring as a supporting love team in this action-drama series top-billed by Robin Padilla, Bea Alonzo, and Diether Ocampo. As previously reported on Push.com.ph, the two young stars have been good friends long before they got this project. “Masaya naman kami sa set kasi even before kami mag-taping, magkaibigan na kami ni Ejay. Hindi naman kami dumating sa point na nagkailangan kasi kilala na rin namin ang isa’t isa,” said Empress.When asked if she asked for Queenie Padilla’s permission to be Ejay’s new leading lady, Empress merely replied that there was no need because the two have never been a couple to begin with. Ejay used to be romantically linked to Queenie ever since they worked together in Momay. “Merong paalam pa? Hahaha! Hindi, kasi wala naman e, mabuti kung mag-girlfriend at boyfriend sila. Pero yung management naman kasi ang nagsasabi kung anong trabaho ibibigay nila sa amin. So kami bilang artista, tatanggapin lang namin.”
Ejay further explained that he has no problem being paired with someone else because that’s the way things work in the biz. “Eh ganon naman talaga eh. Bilang artista kailangan lahat nakakatrabaho mo para mas natututunan. Kung yung Kimerald love team nga pinaghihiwalay ‘di ba? Tsaka kaibigan ko naman si Empress at masarap siyang katrabaho so wala namang issue dapat dun. Happy naman kami sa team-up namin.”
Although they’re not yet allowed to disclose details about their roles yet, Empress and Ejay said that Guns & Roses is a love story that will surely captivate the Kapamilya viewers. “Kikay si Empress dito. Parang lahat ng napupunta sa kanya parang laging drama. Ngayon mas light naman yung role niya. Ako naman medyo mapapasabak sa action. Magkapatid kami dito ni Mr. Robin Padilla. Basta kung gusto nilang kiligin uli, ang Guns & Roses ang dapat abangan sa Primetime Bida.”
