Star Magic Artists from US Tour Mourn AJ Perez's Demise

Six Kapamilya stars, who arrived in the country Tuesday morning after their successful Star Magic 18 World Tour in the United States, remembered young actor AJ Perez.

Drama Princess Kim Chiu, Dancing Princess Maja Salvador and hunk model-actor Rafael Rosell expressed sadness over the untimely death of their fellow Kapamilya talent.

“We'll pray, always pray for him and his family and our condolences to everybody who loves him including ourselves,” Rosell told ABS-CBN News.

Salvador and Chiu also recalled the fondest memories they shared with Perez.

Perez, 18, was killed in a vehicular accident in Tarlac after doing a show in Dagupan last April 17.

Hoping that the tragedy will serve as a lesson to everyone, Salvador advised the public to take extra care while driving.

“Kapag aksidente, aksidente talaga.

Shortly after their arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, the Kapamilya stars, together with Star Magic head Johnny Manahan, headed to Christ the King Church in Quezon City to pay their last respects to the late actor.

The actor was buried Tuesday afternoon.
