ABS-CBN has released a statement regarding the network’s decision to file “reckless imprudence” case against the driver of the van involved in the accident which killed young actor AJ Perez.In a statement sent by the Mr. Bong Osorio, Corporate Communications Head of ABS-CBN, the Kapamilya network clarified that the driver is an employee of Southbend Express Services, Inc, a service contractor of ABS-CBN.

ABS-CBN wishes to clarify that the driver who was involved in the collision that caused the death of teen actor AJ Perez is an employee of Southbend Express Services, Inc., a service contractor of ABS-CBN.
ABS-CBN has studied the facts of the incident and will file a case of reckless imprudence against the Southbend driver. This is in addition to the earlier case filed against the PARTAS bus driver.
