Gerald Anderson on Working Again With Kim Chiu

Gerald Anderson shared that he enjoyed the Star Magic World Tour last Holy Week because apart from work, he and the other celebrities were able to bond and have fun. “’Pag walang work, nag-ikot-ikot kami sa New York, Los Angeles, at nag-San Francisco pa kami,” he said. When asked if he was also able to bond with Kim Chiu who was also part of the concert tour, Gerald replied, “Friends lang ulit kami ni Kim, kumbaga masaya kami ngayon. Hindi naman po nawala [ang friendship],” he replied.

The Gerald and Kim tandem is still one of hottest showbiz love teams, but the two are now working on their individual careers. Gerald said that he has no idea as to when he will team up again with Kim, although he is looking forward to working with Kim again in the future. “In the future magsasama rin kami. Friends po kami ni Kim, we’re good friends.”

While Kim is now preparing for her next teleserye Binondo Girl with Matteo Guidicelli and Xian Lim as leading men, Gerald revealed that he is also gearing up for his next TV project but did not disclose much information about it. “May inaayos-ayos kami ngayon for this year exciting siya and kakaiba and excited din ako para don. Drama siya for primetime pero hanggang dun muna,” he said.

“Next month na kami magsi-start. Maraming preparasyon, research, pinaplano pa.” He added that he will show a different side of himself in his next teleserye and his role is unlike anything he has done before. “Sobrang laking show. Ibang ako ang makikita n’yo. Iba lahat pati ang casting.”

The actor also said that he does not know yet who his leading lady will be, but added that he is looking forward to finding out since ABS-CBN has a lot of talented actresses.

As for his love life, Gerald said that there is no need to rush and he will take his time. “Gusto ko munang mag-focus sa trabaho. Kung love life darating ‘yon, darating at the right time. Kumbaga huwag nating hanapin at madaliin. Kung andyan na, siyempre masaya ako but sa ngayon focus muna ako sa trabaho.”
